Canon uses a mini printer built into the camera for its instant cameras. The starting point is the Canon Zoemini mini-printer, which is also available separately. In order to be able to print at all in this compact design, so-called Zink photo paper is used. For this kind of printing no actual ink is necessary, the colour pigments are already present in the paper.
